ALPHAREX 4TH GEN RAM LED HEADLIGHTS INSTALL. These are nice!

In this, Every Day Diesel KZbin video, I will install a set of Alpharex LED Headlights on my 2014 Ram 2500.

Install is pretty simple. I had factory projector headlights. If you have factory incandescent headlights your wiring process will differ.
(I think that is where Alpharex lacks, good install instructions for factory projector equipped rams.)
Install takes about 1 hour. Simple tools.

If you choose to manually turn on your DRL's, your tail lights will be on as well. The DRL harness eliminates that. Thanks for being the only video on the internet for people with factory projector headlights doing this install!

I like it a lot. The factory 4g projectors were really good. These aren’t worse that’s for sure. I looked at those too. But I prefer the look of the Alphas. 👍🏼

Hey boss love the lights think i might get some for my ram, does the DRL fuse tape you didn’t install do what if installed ? make them amber or you said you can just switch manually so really what’s the benefit of them fuse tapped ? Looks like the oem projector light had no issue with the conversion kit so ima excited man !

@@lt.bigchungus8092 there’s a way to change the wires to make the running lights amber if you want. The harness I didn’t install was just a harness that makes the running lights on all the time. Instead of coming on automatically at dusk or manually in the cab.

Thanks man! I have thought about paint matching the front end and the mirrors. For right now I don’t hate the chrome. But it’s definitely a future plan. To do it right it’s expensive tho.

The only harness I have is for the DRL’s. But I still plan to install them at some point. Sorry man! Reach out to Alpha. They will get you what you need.

How do u adjust the low beam headlight to go up mine are currently pointing at the ground with the low beams on I have the same exact headlights that you have?

You’ll have to remove the light or get to the adjusters. Then adjust accordingly

What lights are in the grille and on the A pillar?

Those are Firewire LEDs safety lighting. Check them out online. They come in a bunch of color combos and lengths. Made specifically for work and emergency vehicles. But are also cool for daily drivers too.

For the price, you shouldn't have to do extra wiring / fuse taps.. alpharex is very ebayish as well as the light output wasn't anything impressive on my alpharex luxx series

The fuse tap and wiring is just for the DRL’s, for 4th gens. For example you wouldn’t need to do this on a 5th gen if you changed to Alpharex headlights. It would do it automatically.
