Trading is a way to feed the soul through the body! Your only competition is yesterday’s you. It’s really all about who you become along the way. Obstacles will arise in front of you. How you deal with those obstacles defines your character. Early April will be the one year anniversary of when I was diagnosed with Burkitts Lymphoma. Before that I had a 900# total. I’m grateful that I’m now able to not only have whooped cancers ass, but to be on track to beat that total come April.

Its funny how much things change once you accept the permanence of a situation. I got diagnosed with a ton of sleep problems awhile back that cause me to be perpetually exhausted. For the year beforehand I was just kinda waiting for things to get better. "Once im getting treatment and not passing out multiple times a day, Ill train hard again." But once that diagnoses came in telling me what I got was neurological and permanent, it flipped a switch. These are the cards Ive been dealt, and Im going to have to work with it. Nobody is here to feel sorry for me. Im going to be tired whether I go to the gym or not, so I might as well get something done. And your giant sets have been astronomically helpful in that as I legitimately lack the ability to be in the gym for 3 hours like most advanced programs want me to be lol

Have you tried to see a psychologist and/or a hypnotherapist to solve the puking? Maybe it's psychological/emotional. My friend was puking after every meal and she went to see a psychologist and it turns out it was stress related because she lived in a toxic family environment. The doctors had no idea what was causing it after many trips to the hospital.

Brian! I don't know if you're aware of this, but there is a condition where your body will elicit a histamine response to intense exercise. I actually have this condition as I have found of recent. I break out in hives around my neck when doing strenuous upper body movements which has made me limit the amount of upper body work I do. I'm not sure if this could be related to your exercise induced vomiting, but I would look into it if you haven't already.

If you haven't tried it, gelatin might help. It soothes and can gradually help heal the stomach and GI tract, not to mention improving connective tissues. I find about 1/2 TBS dissolved in a mug of hot to be very easily digested. Hope that helps, and I hope you get better soon man. You're a huge inspiration!
@Fortress3336 жыл бұрын
As you can see, I'm not Brian, but I wanted to say I used to drink gelatin in warm water with honey. There really needs to be something else in there, because the taste of (beef) gelatin is something horrible. It's an interesting supplement. Its amino profile isn't well-rounded, but eat some other protein with it and that's no issue. I stopped using it, but of late I was thinking of it again and read your comment. Hope Brian tries it. Maybe liquid protein like beef gelatin provides him with a nice boost. I'm not sure if it really helps with connective tissue. Could be placebo.

Ever try a fast to try fix your gut problems? Ever have a fecal microbiome test to see if its bacterial?? It's turned into an excuse at this point(almost every video i seem to watch its mentioned), because we hear about it constantly. You need to take care of yourself before being a strongman... You can still make content. I walk around in agony everyday due to severe foot deformity/reconstruction/fusions etc at a young age, but i don't tell everyone about it all the time... Get what I'm saying? It is what it is. Forget training until your healed up.. Train people, not yourself and do high rep movements for blood flow.. GPP method. Rehab your body for a few months. Many elite athletes do fasting to clean the body out after a big season of training... It will alow your body to heal because everything your eating is obviously pissing your body off and making your throw it up. Take the food out (which is healthy for you anyway) and this process may be able to actually occur and you'll at-least stop vomiting. You wont lose anywhere near as much muscle as you think fasting also... You'll be in ketosis which is muscle sparing. If you actually did this i reckon you could be competing again within a year if done properly. 1 more thing.. Those rubish deadlifts look like a back snapper with that kind of weight... Crazy. I wouldnt recommend that shit to anyone who wants to maintain a decent back unless its done with LIGHT weight, which can then be beneficial especially for deadlifts. Hapthor/Wheels do a similar movement and use like 60 lbs on the same day they do deadlifts... They're both almost twice as strong as you. Get my point? Its an assistance movement.. Training that movement heavy is heading for injury. It is what it is.

The reality is that it affects him and what we are seeing here is how he is adapting to it and how he is personally trying to overcome it. Bottling it in isnt always the best thing. Hes going to doctors all over, Im sure theyve all suggested anything you can think of already. But if you really think he is going to stop training, youre missing the point of these videos and this channel. You really think hes gonna release the new ABILITY shirts with Miles and then go "Oh my life is too hard to train." The gym is called NEVERsate for a reason.

This is an absolutely moronic comment. Brian has been hamstrung over the last year or so by a condition that causes him to vomit dozens of times during the day. This is not Brian battling some minor digestive issues while failing to make any lifestyle changes to remedy them. In fact, he's been working with numerous specialist doctors who cannot figure out what it is. Additionally, Brian has mentioned in past comments that he's tried all manner of fixes, including fasting, supplements, and others to no avail. This isn't an issue of willpower. That Brian is able to train at all while he goes through the medical process of trying to figure this out is testament to his toughness.
