Finally with Roach Ravager nerf along with Cyclone Lockons dealing +10 to every zerg unit made Mech vs Zerg so much interesting. But still, we need some Viper nerfs.

sick game, tvz most balanced matchup imo, bio or mech, zerg just wasn't pulling off the big caster moves and byun map control was excellent.

that was disgusting. Please make broodlords raynor, and infestors. Zerg players have been avoiding infestors like the plague lately, they have been nerfed into the ground. I miss seeing infestor play, but I can't even blame them for not using them. Just a real shame. All these zerg buffs don't seem to change a thing vs a terran like byun. Lurker spines are too slow, bring back broodwar lurkers, they are a joke and just never trade well like a siege tank does. These games were disgusting. And that last map was so terran favored with all of the chokes and hallways, #permaveto. Really uninspiring to see such imbalanced gameplay, but a lot of that has to do with raynors poor transitions and compositions. Just disgusting.

Honestly they nerfed ghosts Not enough in the Patch. Every lategame TvZ is decided solely by the 20 Ghosts on the field 🥴

Interesting to see that all the games were relatively even... until the Ghosts enter. In the first game, for all the reaper fun and great micro from Byun, Reynor comes out of that ahead in supply and upgrades. But Ghosts make all previous interactions completely meaningless. Pew pew, and Zerg gg's.

Problem is Reynor hasn't changed his style in 3 years, so Byun knows exactly what he's gonna do and what the right response is. He knows that anything Reynor knows how to do is bad vs ghosts, so he blindly masses ghosts and it works. A better, more savvy Zerg would switch things up more to take advantage of this: mix in more mid-game all ins with roaches / muta tech switches / adding burrowed investors / teching to brood lords, drops, nydus, etc. All Reynor does is mass ling bane hydra lurker and headbutt into entrenched positions, and then wonder why he gets sniped to death.

@@space_orphan To be fair, there is nothing ANY Zerg player on the planet can do once the Terran gets 10+ Ghosts. Ghosts counter every Zerg unit in the game. Maybe its an issue of not letting the Terran get that many Ghosts out on the field, but once they are, the game is done. There is no anti Ghosts strat.
