The french has quite a rich history in rally: -Michelle Mouton being the first woman who raced in rally (and humbling the competition like a champ) -Renault being almost more competitive than WRC in their kit car era -Peugeot being a serious competitor agaainst Audi and Lancia with the 205 T16 and numerous Japanese brands with the 206 RC. -Citroën who dominated WRC for pratically *18 YEARS* with Sébastien Loeb for 9 years and Sébastien Ogier for almost 9 years aswell. Too bad that the french now are only interested in crappy SUVs equipped with engines that have barely enough power to push it at the speed limit on the highways. As someone who lives in France, it's quite depressing to see what the automotive industry of this country is turning into when you see what it was back in the days.
