Alpine Hammock Camping In The Backcountry

Destination Twin Lakes Monashee Mountain Range in British Columbia Canada. I packed up my hammock gear and headed for the alpine. This backcountry campsite is breathtaking. Unbelievable views and scenery, and not to mention, it sits at 7000 feet. The hammock gear was a gamble, but I managed to get a nice hang in a remarkable location nestled between the two lakes and towering peaks all around. Nothing beats hitting the trail in the great outdoors and heading out on a solo adventure into the peaks of some gorgeous mountians. Hammock camping is really starting to be my preferred method it's just too comfortable to resist. I really enjoy hiking and backpacking in the monashee range. There are numerous backcountry locations there, and I'll be hitting another one soon to come on the same mountain range but a different chunk of the mountain. Starting to get the hang of this carving thing and left a little hidden treasure at twin lakes for somone to find

I love when you visit this location, its absolutely gorgeous. You are getting really good at carving man, the gnome was so cool. Someone is gonna be excited to find it. Great job filming, Jeff.

thanks Mike it's definitely a gem shockingly busy tho.carving is definitely a boring of obsession now. it'll be awesome having random carvings picked up by people curious to see how far they go lol

Nice too meet an fellow ; hammock lover , carversnd left behind it , was thinking iam crazy while doing it also evrytime i leave something neat or nice for the following ppl at the fire/ camp site an pile of nice dry wood or even stuff like this animals carvd or even spoons well done ..

I love hammock sleeping, I sleep in one full time.

@@JTDOutdoors I rigged up a way to get around that. I’ll have to show you what I did to get around it before I move out of here. I just bought land in MO and am moving out there at the end of October.
