You should look at the buildings on google earth and try and replicate some famous ones like Chrysler/Empire state/Woolworth. Gives you a good idea of how you should try to approach it

I’ve been using a bit simpler technique, but I will use this from now on, anyway I’ve only made like 5 different avenues, 8 streets, 1 30km long freeway, so this will help with the rest of the city

Hi, btw it still looks good without the texture pack but you do have to sacrifice the bench and bins unless you get the Mr.CrayFish furniture mod. another thing is that EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD WITH SHADERS!!

just pointing out that a 5.25 block lane (~17ft) + 1 block cobble shoulder(~3ft) is HUGE for a normal road, and even more huge for a city road. IRL road lanes are 10-12ft (centerline to edgeline) with ~1-6ft shoulder depending on context. for "human scale" id much rather see the road widths get reduced, and the car designs be modified to fit the road rather than the road designs be modified to fit the car.

It's called worldedit. It's an incredibly useful mod for larger or repetitive builds. You also have to learn the commands to do anything too.

How is mountain edge called in 1.18?

use //setbiome mountain_edge .If not all blocks are mountain edged, try expanding the selection by 4 in all cardinal directions because worldedit will automatically displace biome columns on the edge of the selection by the range of 4. If some of the blocks in the selection are still not mountain edged, there is nothing you can do to change those blocks to mountain edge.

Hmm. When I use WE to change the biomes it lashes out and changes areas I did not select. Also it doesn't update immediately. Are there more plugins needeed?

Personally I put the sidewalk and the road at the same height. I place stairs between the sidewalk and the road to create a gap between the two, it's all the more realistic. Very good video otherwise...

Hi, make sure you are using Optifine with connected textures on. Worldedit may require a relog to register too
