Alps Dell Laptop Touchpad Erratic when using PSU charger

not sure why there are many dislikes, this helped me fix the fact that my Chuwi Hi10 Pro touchpad kept disconnecting and reconnecting while on charge. This technically doesn't fix the problem but it provides such an easy workaround that it might as well not be a problem, especially if the case is metal. Thank you

*Easy Fix* I didn't come up with the credits goes to another guy , keep the adapter a little bit far off from the pc. I know it sounds weird but keep the adapter as far as possible from the computer as far as it can extend and it'll work , *according to another guy* there is an Electro Magnetic Interference which messes up the electrical circuit in the touchpad it even used to weaken my wifi signal but now it's good.

the charger likely doesn't have a ground earth but if course your concept for which fix is ok..

same problem with... a dell original charger (warranty expired). Is there a quick and dirty fix for that? (Like soldering a wire from a metallic part to the charger ground pin)

@Thondup Namgual try to reinstall Windows. Do not install chipset and free Fall sensor.

@@WojciechOkon hi, i have the same computer Dell M5040, it has a different problem it had a problem whit the charger cirquit so i decided change it. when i changed the mainboard for a new motherboad and i installed all parts in it places the touchpad does not work well, each time that i plugued the charguer so i tried many way to fix it ! (formating,installing new drivers, changin the operating systems ) so i have other laptop to use its parts and found a laptop HP whit the same bus cable to conect to the mainboard i plugued the hp touchpad on laptop dell and it work ! whit the charguer plugued , so i think that the touchpad hardware is working wrong . now i bought a new touchpad whith the hope that everything will ok. i will tell you what will happend.
