Allah's mercy is infinitely greater than the mothers mercy for her child so in shaa Allah this will be a way for you to jannah. He is a clear cut heretic who said we should priortize freedom and democracy over the sharia. He also said Allah himself couldnt get enough votes to beat a certain muslim presidents. As well as saying suicide bombings are jihad and praise worthy. He is responsible for the blood of muslims from his fathwas. This id nothing compared to his aqidah mistakes. Some scholars have made takfir of him.

I believe the point is missed. Sheikh Albani didn’t support these people but actually as Usama mentioned cleaned up the their books. Another words cleaned up the falsehood mixed with truth. The reason their are crickets when non Muslim dies because it’s obvious to the Muslims this is a person upon falsehood. This is a person that it’s obvious is not upon the truth of Islam. The reason voices are heard when it comes to people of deviance as Usama mentioned which is a practice known from scholars present and past. Is that these people mixed truth with falsehood. These people caused confusion with in the Muslim beliefs and distorted the religion of Allah to the common people. They caused Muslims to believe in Islam in a deviant way which caused the Muslims fitna in belief and practice and called them away from the belief of our pious predecessors. Usama stated all through out that this man said statements that were borderline Kufr and called people to it so I don’t see the reason for chastising Muslims who praised his death as a relief from his call. Would we chastise our pious predecessors for doing the same? Allah knows best.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Al Qaradawi make colossal mistakes and misguidance in the deen and in his fatawa. Encouraging rebellion responsible for many deaths, denying Rajm (stoning for adultery) in the shari'ah, allowed shaking hands with women, promoted democracy over shari'ah, gave fatwa allowing mortgages in riba and not to mention the Ashari aqeedah and many more. If these are really true, I don't know how someone like this can be respected.

No doubt Imam Albani is imam in Hadith. But imam Qardhawi is imam of Fiqh. So both of them are imams. I do think that imam Qardhawi is the imam of fiqh in this century.

i am salafi and i heard shaykh qaradawi say many questionable things. however rejoicing over the death of another muslim does not sit right with me. where is our walaa wal baraa. furthermore fiqh is vast. if a scholar comes out with a strange opinion, it could be a mistake, or it could be he is taking a less favorable opinion as he feels that may work better for us in this modern age.
