Salam from Pakistan, I have an out of context question here if you can let me have the answer from Sayed. The question is; In the shia fiqh we have all those fish classified as Halal which have scales. All other marine life and fish (with the exception of shrimps or prawns) are haram. So basically I want to know, why is it that the shrimps are halal (if you could please share any hadith in reference to it which gives the reasoning on shrimps being halal, because in all these years I considered the shrimps to be makrooh may be due to lack of information available) when these don't have the scales and they are not even classified as fish.

salam brother. we have narrations from the ahl bayt that locust is halal to eat, shrimp is considered as a sea locust in arabic literature
