I still to this day can barely get through the last half of season 3 when he breaks up with him, but damn it's so satisfying to see Maryse be the one to save the day (and their relationship) in the end when she tells Magnus about the ring. She had one of the best, if not THE best character developments in my opinion. Went from "Magnus, leave this wedding, now!" to walking him down the isle! Sorry, off topic rambling, I just love these two to death. I'm so glad I finished season 3 after the finale had already aired a few years ago because those weeks waiting for the next episodes probably would've murdered me. This video is so beautiful and really captured the raw emotion of the entire situation with their break-up. Even if it only lasted for 2-3 episodes, it still hurts like hell to watch.

Okay, I really love your editing. But I really want to point the acting out here. Especially during the breakup scene, the way Alecs words and actions collided, the way he wanted to tell Magnus everything but couldn't, the way it hurts him. And the way that Magnus reacted, the way you see him getting his heart broken and how it really looks like this was the first love that truly meant a lot to him just makes everything so bittersweetly perfect.
