I love Millennium! In a future, I will buy anyone. Thanks for your video. Best

Great electronic chess set. I don’t own any Millennium sets, and I have other sets I’d buy before I get one (such as Chessup or Chessnut Evo), however, I do like them quite a bit. Thanks for the information.

Thank you so much. I can't understand why they don't write this in the f**** manual. I searched nearly 2 h for the info where to find the Chess link menu option

A Board without a Batterie, without Bluetooth. An extensive additional device is required for online gaming. Why are You presenting yesterdayˋs technology here ?
@zeniktorres4320 Жыл бұрын
?? Today's technology does not mean everything has to be online. I have the King Competition which is the plastic version of this because it has a good chess computer inside. Not being an online board is a positive.

Well, this is a tricky situation! For boards with rechargeable batteries, they are classified as “dangerous goods” and need to get special “shipping certificates” either by sea or air plus other 3 documents!

So you need an external device to play online????

You really don't want internal batteries or wifi/BT devices if you want your chess computer to last more than 5 or so years. As for the Evo it's UI is based on Android the version of which will become obsolete within 10 years at best (actually what happens is that the OS versions increase in complexity such that the underlying hardware can't really function anymore). There is a reason why people can still play 40 year old chess computers, but are very unlikely to be doing the same with most of today's modern chess computers, they are basically becoming like mobile phones where you need a new one every few years.

@@RR-gm1fpSomeone asked in the comments of one of Katzenpapas videos, if there was an upside to Millenniums modular solution (Exclusive, Supreme) as opposed to Chessnuts integrated (Air, Pro). I think, you gave a very good answer to that question. However, the DGT PI as a self contained system (chess computer), will still run in 20 years, if PCB and SD card allow it. Btw, I am showing a couple of old Mephisto boards on my channel.
