ALSWAJ address media regarding hostels admission issues

The hostel warden only gives admission to his relatives secretly. Five days ago, my brother went to the hostel for admission, but the warden refused to grant it. However, one of my friends, who is a relative of the hostel warden, got admission easily. I humbly appeal to the DC of Kargil to take strict action against the hostel warden. This is my humble request to the DC of Kargil.🙏🏼🙏🏼

As a hostel resident with proper admission as a regular student, I have spent the last two years in the boys' hostel. During this time, I have observed that our hostel warden is a kind, honest, and supportive individual who is always there for the students. Most hostelers share the same opinion about him. However, the main issue arises from the politics played by organizations like LAHDC Kargil, ALSWAJ, and particularly the former presidents of ALSWAJ and the boys' hostel. These individuals often create unnecessary problems for their own benefit. Last year, I witnessed the ex-president frequently threatening and publicly abusing the warden. These incidents occurred on several occasions, with many hostel residents present as witnesses. Unfortunately, this year’s ALSWAJ president seems to be following a similar path, further contributing to the disruption in the hostel environment.

As a hostel resident, I want to clarify that what the president is saying is only half the truth. The phrase "Adha sach pura jhooth hota hai" (half-truth is equivalent to a full lie) aptly applies here. Without consulting the hostel members, the ALSWAJ unilaterally announces decisions regarding the hostel, including holding press conferences. Actually what happen is that ,This year, the admission process for the hostel was taken over by the LAHDC Kargil from the ALSWAJ. This effectively ended their monopoly over hostel admissions and rules. Frustrated by this loss of control, they are attempting to create a negative atmosphere in the hostel, and this is one such instance. Last year, when the admission process was under ALSWAJ's control, they prioritized admitting their relatives and friends. I personally witnessed several individuals staying in the hostel without valid admissions because of their connections to the ALSWAJ president. The environment in the hostel last year was chaotic and unruly( gunda faj), Now that they no longer have this power, they are resorting to such theatrics.
