From what i can tell with the data is when a card is popular or expensive more people submit them and when it's not less people submit them which makes sense, I always bet on demand. Get the popular stuff and you'll never make a mistake (over the long term).

I've written a dozen comments and backspaced them all. Suffice it to say, my thoughts regarding this data may be less positive in the longer run. Popularity is vital, but boy does it change! I've found myself "Spinning Wheels" over this concept many times with a lot of Blood, Sweat & Tears, but one lesson seems to be constant... 😉

As with all things all you can do is take the data you have on hand add in that big Pokemon brain and make the best decisions you can. The only thing that’s guaranteed is that nobody can predict the future!! A fun exercise is to look at Reddit articles on Pokemon card collecting/investing from 10 years ago. You’ll see a lot of the same narratives then that you do now, both bullish and bearish. It really is a blast to read about people “missing the boat” on Skyridge Booster boxes at $90 and how they are now at $200 and will never grow in value. Lots of really fun stuff to read!!

It's getting so close to NJ collect a con and I'm trying to keep in mind to buy what will go up and not what has but there are some products I want to grab. Mainly I'm going to grab 3 pack blisters and graded cards. As of now anyways. Lol

Wow, these cards are not slowing down. That Blaziken blows my mind. It's a great card but I remember that card sitting at 110 for such a long time and now it's officially one of the big boys. I tried really hard to pull that card when the set dropped but CR is difficult pull rates.

Cr was the only swsh set that we did really well on. But only bc we ran into some batching error blisters. We hit every big card in less than 20 sleeved booster packs

Yeah it will be interesting to see when and at what price point some of these stall out. I just got done with the MOM SW&SH view and it looks like a few of them are running low on gas!!

Awesome video and awesome data! Thank you for putting this all together and sharing with us all! I for the most part was able to avoid FOMO with these alt art rises except I bought the BS Charizard V in PSA 10 for $350 and of course it was the top. I regret it and knew I fell for the FOMO. Stupid. At least I didn't buy others after they sprung up. Thankfully I've changed focuses to other stuff. I appreciate you helping us track these moves and make smarter decisions.

Not gonna lie, if you were to FOMO on any of these I think the BS Zard at $350 would be the one to do it on. BS is an epic set, the art on that card is fire and let’s be honest… it’s a Zard!! Might take a while but in the long run you’re going to be just fine my friend!!

Oh my… yeah that’s a pretty aggressive price point for the Tina. Maybe someday it’ll get there but I dunno about any time soon.
