I didn't upload a cover last week because my hard drive died. I decided to do this tutorial first, so I'll upload Scaretale next week. :)

Hey man, just got my first keyboard today...totally beginner it´s an Alesis of 54 keys...I love Cradle Of Filth and some cool songs like this one which is actually the first one I am trying to learn yet stuck at 5:12 when playing with both hands at different speeds. Do you reckon I´ll be able to play this and most Cradle Of Filth songs being this keyboard only of 54 keys?

Great to hear you are starting to play the keyboard as well! 54 keys should be enough for most songs. I've had the keyboard shown here, with 60 keys, for 10 years and only needed more when I also started with classical music. I don't expect having 6 keys less would make a large difference. Sometimes the octave below or above the standard 5 octaves (in your case 4.5) is needed. In this case it is useful if the keyboard has a transpose function to alter the pitch by an octave (=12 keys). But a range larger than 5 octaves in a single song/piece is very rare outside (neo-)classical music, so I'd reckon 54 keys should be fine to begin with (unless, maybe, you want to play multiple tracks at once). This song may not be the best song to start with if you've never played before though, because of the intro. But early Dimmu and Cradle have many other beginner songs for keyboard, so these albums are a good place to start. Especially For All Tid, I'd say. Good luck, and have fun!

@@Hylke95 Hello & thanks for your quick response, I appreciate it! Thanks as well for welcoming me into the keyboard world, I find it fantastic & has given me a new scope & appreciation when listenting to music! I did find the transpose function on my keyboard, I will consider it for any future tracks when learning. I agree...not the easiest song for beginners...I am making some progress though, it´s just finding a way that my brain is able to separate 2 different melodies at the same time at different speeds. I am still trying & also started learning Sorgens Kammer which is a bit easier, following your tutorial which is great! I want to ask you a favor...my wife really loves the movie Corpse Bride by Tim Burton & I was wondering if you´d help me with a tutorial for Victor´s song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIeyeXpmeKdprqc

@@menschenfeindmmxviii8492 Just keep practicing and you will get there! As for the theme from Corpse Bride, there are already many tutorials for that song, which I can't improve upon any further. For example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4jSZZimf9Nspas or kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5-1pWuAg62ApZY or kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKnFmYemZ618ntk It seems to be composed especially for this movie. However, to me it sounds similar (at least the beginning) to Chopin's Nocturne in C#m op27 no1. Your wife may like that as well (though not recommended to try to learn that one already, you'd need more keys), or any other piano piece from the romantic era for that matter (assuming it doesn't matter whether it is related to the movie or not)

Stuart Benjamin Sure, there are some guitar pro files on ultimate-guitar.com. If you don't have guitar pro, I can also send you a midifile of the song.
