This is a folk song from the city of Ordu and the lyrics say: even if the rivers of Ordu start flowing upwards I will not give you to others, even if the army ("ordu" also means "army") was coming to get me... So it basically says "no matter what, I am not giving up and you are mine" :-)

The story of Ordu's folk song ... Years ago, two young people lived in one of the remote villages of Ordu (a city by the black sea). The young man Mehmet, who has a good financial situation has fallen in love with the young girl (Hacer) whose financial situation is not as good as he is..The young girl was so beautiful; that it blew Mehmet's mind. By the way, Mehmet was very handsome too. The love of Hacer, with Mehmet resembled the great loves of the past. On certain days of the week, they met at the bottom of the prune tree. They did not even notice the hours flowing from eye to eye, knee to knee. But there were those who could not get this beautiful togetherness, and evil eyes were confused. The other girls of the envious village have destroyed this sweet union with the various intrigues they have turned. They produced incredible rumors against the young girl and finally caused Mehmet to leave his beloved precious and the village. Mehmet, who went abroad with such deep sadness, left behind a tearful girl, a troubled, bedridden mother who could not get up. The girl Hacer, who was in great pain and her heart was burned, went to the edge of the river flowing near her house every day, while hanging the snow-white clothes she washed on the fences, she used to moan the whole village with a folk song she did not miss. After that day, days and months have passed like this. Neither Mehmet has returned nor Hacer has gone to his loved one and they haven't been together forever..
