Dude this is all good. Dismounts are on point, trench clearing looks like an applicable concept. Everyone looks like they are using a lot of common-sense infantry. The doctrine of the average infantryman is solid. Our Army does lack a lot of what you guys have and makes us jealous. Awesome stuff!!!

Do you make up for it in other regards, though?
@NLYS272 ай бұрын
@@1anre The men like squads and firearms do but this is usually due to the failure of leadership. In the US Army, we have a lot of political ideology-driven and incompetent people in charge. Every Amy is always changing so will see how it changes in the future or we get into a near pear conflict and we get all wiped. Thats our biggest fear is having to get smoked for people to get fired or kicked out.

I was in The Battalion from 1979 to 1982 at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario. I was there when Prince Phillip came to visit and renamed our company, then Delta Company, to the Duke of Edinburgh's Company. We even got our own pennant/flag with a slogan in Latin. Something about "2 men 1 shovel" I think. It disappeared into the Officers Mess, never to be seen by us again.

@@1anre I know a lotta dudes are going to QoR, problem is that the QoR doesn't fit my schedule tbh, training happens on Wednesday nights still a full time student and wanted to try something a little bit out of my comfort zone, I know 48th trains usually Friday nights and one weekend per month which actually isn't bad, but again I still haven't fully decided my choice yet I would probably go QoR if they actually respond but my CO & one of my WO's within my RCAC squadron actually recommended me go to 48th instead despite for me actually wanting to go to the jumpmaster route with the QoR cause unfortunately they just happen to have to train on Wednesday nights again still open to other choices other then the 48th though.

@JoshBortolotti2 ай бұрын
@jeremythebeer8609 Of course. The 101st Airborne came to Latvia last year while we were there and played the "enemy force". 1 RCR also went to Estonia to play the "enemy force" against the British during that time. It's not so much friendly competitions for the sake of competitions. They are always in relation to real-world training that needs to be done. Canada had done training in some desert areas of the US during the Afghanistan days.
