Dude this is all good. Dismounts are on point, trench clearing looks like an applicable concept. Everyone looks like they are using a lot of common-sense infantry. The doctrine of the average infantryman is solid. Our Army does lack a lot of what you guys have and makes us jealous. Awesome stuff!!!

@@1anre The men like squads and firearms do but this is usually due to the failure of leadership. In the US Army, we have a lot of political ideology-driven and incompetent people in charge. I was in The Battalion from 1979 to 1982 at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario. I was there when Prince Phillip came to visit and renamed our company, then Delta Company, to the Duke of Edinburgh's Company. We even got our own pennant/flag with a slogan in Latin. Something about "2 men 1 shovel" I think. It disappeared into the Officers Mess, never to be seen by us again.

@JoshBortolotti3 ай бұрын
@jeremythebeer8609 Of course. The 101st Airborne came to Latvia last year while we were there and played the "enemy force". 1 RCR also went to Estonia to play the "enemy force" against the British during that time. It's not so much friendly competitions for the sake of competitions. They are always in relation to real-world training that needs to be done. Canada had done training in some desert areas of the US during the Afghanistan days.
