That's the big part, the singalong...no one else gets that reaction to their theme song anymore. 10,000+ people NOT in attendance for music, yet still sing along with his song? Dude has gotta feel amazing every time he's in the ring with a sea of people singing HIS song. It's the kind of magic we can't get a lot of anymore in wrestling. I just discovered this song and wow!! A song that I can relate to. I've ruined myself trying to please everybody since I was a kid. When lockdown came I grabbed the chance to heal myself, caged up in my room and meditated. Everything that I was too afraid to take in: criticism, impatience, and other "toxic traits" I had, I took those in, accepted that I am not perfect, that I'm still 25 and got a lot to learn and should be teachable. This song marks that point in my life where I chose to change. Not just "New Years resolution" change where it's broken the next day or the next month. A covenant to myself that I will change for good. A trial given to me was when my mother died from cancer. That's where I was sharpened. I took care of her from the day she was experiencing pain to the day all her papers were taken care of. This song fits the covenant I made with myself. "a broken dream", "on this day I see clearly" MAN! These words hit my heart and soul hard!!! Thanks for this song! I knew back then it was Edge's theme but I have never understood the lyrics then. Now I know and I love it

Nearing 60. I grew up in the greatest era of music. Meeting the Master is right up there with the greats. I knew instantly when this band hit, they were full of talent. The growth of their musicianship is astounding. Especially the guitar has come the furthest. The drums were already good. When people were hating on them for sounding like Zeppelin, to me, that was a good thing. I was in the minority for a while. Now people are finally hearing their talent. Just a note, all bands use influences. All musicians. Zeppelin sounded like Willie Dixon songs... I wonder why. MTM is up there with anything that I've ever heard. ✌️💛

Isn't the lyrics literally telling you to quit chasing something unattainable and being miserable? Lol.

Glad Adam got to bring this theme to AEW. Super cool to see Alter Bridge represented on both big US wrestling promotions with this and The Other Side now.

I've been defeated and brought down Oh, dropped to my knees when hope ran out Oh, the time has come to change my ways [Chorus] On this day, I see clearly Everything has come to life A bitter place and a broken dream And we'll leave it all, leave it all behind Yeah [Verse 2] I'll never long for what might have been And now, regret won't waste my life again Oh, I won't look back, I'll fight to remain [Chorus] On this day, I see clearly Everything has come to life A bitter place and a broken dream And we'll leave it all behind On this day, it's so real to me Everything has come to life 'Nother chance to chase a dream 'Nother chance to feel Chance to feel alive [Bridge] (Mmm-mmm-mmm) Fear will kill me All I could be Lift these sorrows Let me breathe Could you set me free? Could you set me free? [Chorus] On this day, I see clearly Everything has come to life A bitter place and a broken dream And we'll leave it all behind On this day, it's so real to me Everything has come to life 'Nother chance to chase a dream 'Nother chance to feel Chance to feel alive

I’m not the only person to notice, but I can’t believe how Edge’s life became this song. Makes me almost cry, certainly feels like destiny. Glad he was able to have “another chance to chase the dream”
