In the season 13 comic, it was revealed that the mysterious person she was fighting was actually dubbed as Subject 0. A test subject who had clearly been tested on by Wraith prior to becoming her own test subject and losing her memory.

Alter could be a test subject, but they would have to be from another dimension still. Our wrath only ran test on her self, although we don't know if others were experimented on once wraith lost her memories. After wraith lost them, there is a time gap between when she is freed by the alternative version of herself

From my understanding, Wraith (Dr Renee Blasey) was one of the lead scientists on the phase tech/dimension hopping stuff, and would have experimented on a bunch of other ppl before herself (hence why Alter recognised her as Dr Blasey) then at some point she either decided to experiment on herself or the scientist guy from her SFTO Trailer forced her to, and she was the only one that the tech ended up working on then I guess (theorycrafting time) in the same way there are infinite dimensions of alternate wraiths there are probably equally as many infinite dimensions where she never experimented on herself, and someone else was the one that worked, with probably a slightly different methodology bc of wraith herself still actively working as a researcher resulting in the different colour portal effects and presumably different abilities So then alter is still technically an “alternate wraith” because it’s like in comics and stuff where there always seems to be a spiderman but in different universes it happens a different way to a different person but the underlying canon event is still there

Test subject makes more sense because of the lore you were reading earlier. Someone Wraith should recognize and seen before but cant remember where and when. A test subject she had interacted with before and likely lost and probably forgot about until now.

Looking at Alters character design, she does indeed have a burn scar on her left shoulder trailing down to her gauntlet on that hand. I think for sure this is Subject 0.!

I feel like maybe she’ll be able to grapple in to her portals if she points her mechanical tail at them. That’s one way her passive can tie in with her full kit since I doubt that tail will be for the passive only

Respawn could be going the loki route with her alternate version meaning the alternate version could be basically anything but is still a version of wraith from another dimension. So her race wouldn't matter it could still be a version of wraith just Chinese

It's rumoured that altar is patient zero. The first test subject. Before wraith/Dr blasey used it on herself which ended up wiping her memory too and altars abilities are said to be more experimental prototype versions of wraiths.

It doesn't make sense for another Wraith to call her alternate self "Dr Blasey". I think a test subject is more likely to call Wraith by that name. It also makes sense for a test subject to have a broken mind which all the teases have been alluding to.

Regarding test subjects, it's definitely possible that in some other dimension wraith never was the test subject herself, she might just be a doctor experimenting on subjects, by free will or forcefully. That would link the "test" itself to the ability to travel dimensions, despite who the subject is in what dimension.

"Green portals" - One day in the firing range I was messing around with wraith with a friend and saw the ult was green, but same icon. It was weird. A couple minutes later it was fixed.

i thought that the thing that was destroyed over broke moon was the big diamond shaped shield system you would see in the sky. i believe what alter was doing was opening these portals to activate alert systems and when they were online they would fire at the portal only for alter to close it revealing that it destroyed the broken moons shield. i, most likely, could be wrong, but i cand see the shield machine where the destroyed explosion is.

If I’m not mistaken Wraith did do a lot of not notably good tests on people to try and work on phase tech. It was only when they ran out that she volunteered and became wraith in the process. Plus alter seems to be afraid of wraith as if she is going to hurt her beyond just the fight which makes sense because the scientists in her stories from the Outland seem to just look to pain and death as an answer to everything.

I literally like her ult if I think what it is, it’s just she creates a prot next to her and when her teammates look in that direction they teleport to her but create a portal to the other end as well. I love her tactical but I like it to be something with her tail maybe you can remotely slither the tail and disable the abilities of enemies or maybe her passive is her tail reaching out to a death box to grab stuff but the tail can be shot at. She sounds better than wraith and I am gonna main her instead of wraith!

Alter is not wraith. It's one of wraith test subjects. If you have read the pathfinder lore book you will learn a bit of wraith past. When wraith was a scientist she was creating phase technology for the IMC. She had other test subjects before she became a test subject herself. Also if you've played Titanfall 1 & Titanfall 2 the phase technology ash's uses in her Titan were made by wraith. Alter is probably after the time gauntlet, & if you've played Titanfall games you should know what the time gauntlet is all about O:

i think she here for horizon.. idk who she is but i do have a strong feeling shes after horizon. i think horizon in alternate realities has caused blacc holes to spawn and destroy each planet trying to go bacc in time.. maybe horizon worked on wraith as a test subject to use the voids to go bacc in time or to an alternate dimension or in an alternate dimension

TGM is seems like this is going the way of the Alternate Marcel and DC universes. In those it is true that an alternate version of our characters exist but is not necessarily the same person or character. More so a different person with the exact same backstory and abilities but used and displayed is completely different manners. Just my thought. This is an alternate timeline where another woman went through the same struggles and test our wraith went through.

Positive, they’re writing lore again, more than I joined to save my son or she’s in to protect her mom. Negative, repackaging legends abilities is lazy. If they break the fourth wall to explain away all the issues from season 20, will only show how little they think of the community. Initially thought it would be a funny joke, it’s honestly not a funny situation, especially when you’re playing with peoples money and progression.
