Guys I really recommend this show. It's amazing. The script is well written. You'll not get bored even a bit. The cinematography, acting are just perfect. I just love it's music. It's so catchy. You should definitely go for this. I just love Joel kinnman's acting. He's such a great actor and Martha is amazing too! Starcast is so great.

It's based on a book series. If the name is "Altered Carbon", it's probably not a new season no matter when it pops up since the second book is named "Broken Angels". Considering the show was an almost perfect adaption of the book, I think it's unlikely that they'd rename the second season.

Was bored without something interesting to watch MANY times, having watched the netflix trailer just about each one of said times before I actually gave this show a chance.. When I say that I wish I would've watched it WAY SOONER I'm so serious. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi I promise you will love every second of this show. Soo glad this show is coming back for a second season! Absolutely loved the first one! The "small screen" is really surpassing movies these days in about every which way possible (it has for years now) and stuff like "Game Of Thrones" and now "Altered Carbon" are proof positive of that very thing. I can't wait to see what Anthony Mackie will do with the role as the new lead in the second season! I also love the fact that the pilot was directed by Miguel Sapochnick who did an amazing job directing several episodes of "Game Of Thrones" as well! I hope he comes back for the second season as well!

Are you surprised? Most of these people probably watched Blade Runner and though it was "boring". Unable to grasp that Blade Runner is part of a whole genre. It's not just Blade Runner. Space Opera = Star Wars Ripoff, Dystopia = Hunger Games Ripoff. They just attribute something to the first thing that comes to their mind, without realizing that those things are not the "be all, end all". A mind that's unable to think for itself in the first place.

Blade Runner was the first Cyberpunk-Noir-Mix. Obviously something like this will get associated with it. Neon Signs, Trenchcoats, Murder. Blade Runner made this the genre standart. It was something fresh, something new. You always compare new things to stuff you already know. Everybody does this. So when something like this comes out obviously you'll compare it to another Cyberpunk Noir and Blade Runner is just the most well known and respected.

Don't get me wrong I would like to read it, just don't like to get shot down on expectations seeing the live action, plus I like the look of a cyberpunk in a more visual perspective vs one that relies on my imagery; it's like reading reading "Do androids dream of electric sheep" and watching "Blade Runner", The vision you see in ridley scott's version is what set the picture for modern cyberpunks now. That's what I like to see as well as video games like "Snatcher", "Va-11 Hall-a", "Read Only Memories", and the new upcoming "Detroit Become Human" (As well as Cyberpunk 2077 lol).

Just started this today and me and my girl are absolutely hooked! I rarely comment on series but this one is one of the best i ever saw. Wasted potential to not bring it back. Netflix should stop 20 other trash series for this. This puts even Stranger Things into shame.

Why is this a TV show and not a movie?! If it's a TV show, they should just do it about the character, going through the different lives/regenerations (in a Doctor Who fashion where the actor switches every once in awhile, but instead of new bodies, it's a new life all together after dying in the past one). The murder mystery would be a lot more successful as a movie in my opinion. I feel like the development of the character through the lives that they live would be such an interesting TV show, the murder mystery just seems like a limit placed on it, making it another one of the many, many murder mystery shows out there with it's own twist. We'll have to see.
