I cut off jean pockets to use as large page pockets in a denim and lase photo album...came out great! Decided NOT to sell it, choosing to keep it for myself because it has such an unique look...using it for my own family photos. I have some smaller pockets left that I could decorate and use, as you have suggested, as packaging for a smaller gift. Terrific idea! I like fabric on the back. Decorating both sides is a bit too much for me, but I have really enjoyed seeing your double sided work. Those fabric mushrooms are wa-a-ay beyond what I know how to do...very interesting work. Thanks for all the closeup camera details on all your projects...much appreciated!

I do altered denim pockets also. usually I take medium weight wire and wrap around a pencil to make curly, then stretch it out to make a type of handle and add beads or buttons where I add it to the pocket. Sometimes I stick little silk flowers inside. Around here they are sometimes called locker pockets. Love yours.

LOVE the Mushroom/Toadstool and the plant pot is a great idea. I did think several of Ruby's MRS/TDs would look great in a tall (ish) plain glass (?square-ish) vase so the beauty of the whole MRs could be seen, just an idea. The pockets are gorgeous, I did a stack of them from baby/toddler jeans but where they are is anybody's guess, if and when I find them I'll show you. Big Sis xx

Your pockets and mushroom are beautiful! I made a few denim pockets with some lace trim, appliques and doily flowers. Then I took the outside seam on the jeans and made it into a handle so it can be carried. These are lots of fun to make :-). Your work is always wonderful and love the inspiration you give us :-).
