Your videos are never boring. I stayed all the way to the end and enjoyed every minute of it. The altered paper clips are beautiful and I love the neutrals, they have a classic beauty about them. I think it is wonderful that your daughter crafts with you. She seems to be following in her mother's footsteps. I miss my son making pictures for me. We always crafted together when he was little. I keep everything too. You need a Ziploc bag to keep those fabric bits in and then you will find them.Thank you for spending time with me today!

Oh thank you so much Maryann. Yes, she loves crafty things. Like you, my sons used to craft with me when they were little but they haven’t done anything like that for years now ☹️ . Except for when my middle son made those pockets a few months back x

I think it is so wonderful that you and your daughter are doing art & crafts together. It blesses my heart to hear you bragging on her and encouraging her. I would love to see her work. Perhaps she could illustrate a little children’s book to help other children use their imaginations. We made these in one of your mass makings, but we didn’t use fabric. We made pockets with pockets. Your work is beautiful, as always.

This was really a good tutorial. I made 59 pieces today (sans the paper clip) so I can attach paper clips as I need to.. this way I can also use these pieces for other projects. I used Tim Holtz craft paper as my backing, vintage stickers (flowers, picture frames, stamps) onto different colored cards to create the same layered effect that you did with fabric. Turned out really well. Thanks Tina!

I was shouting I am still with you, lol These are gorgeous, iv seen plenty but not watched a video seeing how they were made, and I found yours. I love them, they are so sweet. Love your daughters drawings, she is a talented little girl and she certainly has her own style. I love watching my grandsons craft, when there staying with us for a weekend or longer, one of them days is a crafty day. We have so much fun. We in Cardiff are back in lock down as of last night. Plus my husband and I are on the vulnerable list, so this time my daughter has moved in with us until Christmas so where not on our own . I am bed bound and hubby is a bowel cancer survivor, unfortunately on top of a big op, he was on chemo for 6 months and its left its mark on him and we struggled on our own on the 1st lockdown, So my wonderful daughter has moved in to help us out. She and I see the funny side in everything so where always laughing and you cannot have enough of that can you. ? xxxxx

What an amazing video with paper clips! I can’t wait to make my own. I’m new to journals and love your inspiration, your voice is so soft and loving to your daughter and her voice is so angelic. She’s so gifted for a 6 year old to make people with all sorts of funky bits on them. I never thought of that when I was her age. Everyone I tried to draw had everything as it is in life. The governor of our state in the USA just ordered an extension of the stay at home order until until May 29. Can you imagine how things could have been if we didn't board supplies to craft with? Or if we didn't have internet to keep in touch?
@shabbydabbydoodah4 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh, May 29th, that is a long time. It’s such a surreal situation, but I think staying home for longer durations is a good thing, otherwise I think it will just be rife again. I know, right? I have such a wonderful collection of yummy goodies I've collected since my scrapbooking days. I've always loved making embellishments. But right now, I'm not in a position to do much crafting. I still have yet to make an actual Junk journal. I want to wait until I get a computer so I can download pretty paper and images. I can't find any old books in my part of the US that have the gorgeous images and illustrations I see all the ladies in England and other parts of Europe has. The stay at home has given me time to organize and find treasures I have boxed up.
