Thankyou so much omg! :,0!! I rlly recommend doing quick timed figure studies for anatomy, they start off sorta hard, but they get easier super quick! Also experiment with ur style and different mediums! Dont listen to artists who say you have to have a consistent art style because youll find a style that you’re comfortable drawing in naturally, and itll change as you get better, and you migjt have multiple styles you like drawing in, and thats a good thing! Never limit urself with ur art ^^ good luck :D

it's honestly super reassuring to see someone who didn't finish their sketchbook in like- a week- every time i see someone with the type of sketchbook i gush over and they're like 'yeah lol it took me forever, like a whole 2 weeks' i always just deadpan, like bro huh-

I get that! My sketchbooks usually take 1-5 months depending on the size+if im in a stable enviorment, so its totally normal to not be super fast with sketchbooks

Dude! I'm loving your work, this is seriously some CalArts level stuff. I find the layers kind of tricky, even when you do wildly different things next to each other, they still manage to go together and it works. Seriously kind of magical. I think I probably worry too much about what the page looks like, I gotta remind myself that I am most likely the only person that will see my stuff. I've also always been fascinated by worldbuilding, but on the other hand, the real world itself is kind of weird and often exotic to me as well. The whole clown thing- I like to dabble in this for Halloween. My friend and I sometimes do "Evil Corporate Clowns" where we put on suits and then the evil clown mask, plus of course nametags with our evil clown names. Creepy as hell, especially with any toy weapons. My mask is a two-fer, you will love this unholy marriage: the legendary Zombie Clown. Next Halloween I need to find one of those OxyContin plushies and carry that around. Yep, I gotta admit my inner child is alive, well, over-caffeinated and in need of a time-out. Please keep doing this, subbed.

Thanks! im honestly suprised by how well the page layouts happen sometimes because I really dont plan them out, I just kinda go with the flow. finding it hard to draw what I want without finding it dissatisying or cringe. Your tours and videos help with how good your art is and your openess about what you draw

You have to free yourself from the lense of being a performer for an audience, which is a dramatic way of saying that your art should be for you, and not for anyone else! You can draw whatever you want, dont worry about it being “cringe” if youre scared of it being cringe, you dont have to show anyone, and even if you do, its still made just for you. I assume you do art because you like it, and not because you want others to ogle at it (though..that can be a nice thing too lol) so try not to form your art around other peoples arbitrary opinions. Im glad my videos help though, and I hope yoh can become more confident in your art and subject matters!
