The mystery flesh pit was genuinely one of the best sort of worldbuilding stories I've seen on the internet. It's some incredible stuff

I remember reading this and I felt genuinely sick after finishing it. Not too many things that can manage to do that, but stomach horror is one of the things that just wigs me out. The only other fear that can compare in my head are giant bottomless abysses in the ocean. I guess that makes sense as to why Jordon Peele's Nope disturbed me out so much. The concept of being slowly digested alive and feeling all of the pain that comes along with that is just too much for me.

I completely get it. I saw THAT scene in the theater and I can't remember the last time a scene made me that distinctly terrified and uncomfortable. Great movie, but I haven't watched it again lol

Also the kids loved it and haven't been saying anything but "the flesh pit calls us back father". Needless to say that where going back next summer.

This is indeed a horror story. For the pit. Imagine waking up with extreme pains in your side, only to find that tiny ants have made metallic structures inside your organs and are actively exploring your guts while you slept.

The world is in turmoil, and people are in pain. Even still, we can take comfort in knowing that there is Mystery Flesh Pit, grins.

A channel called down the rabbit hole has a god synopsis of the series. Ten gen does a good job of narrating the series.

I'll pass on this one. Tbh, I used to be working at a bottomless pit. And one morning, on no special occasion, guess what. The pit is no longer bottomless. Manager told me to just fix that. What can I do about that ? Anyway, don't get your hopes up working at the mystery flesh pit. One day you'll wake up and it will literally just be a common rock pit. You'll lose your job and you'll probably end up with debts and bad credit
