On their first match against USA and Germeny, Misugi felt have he didn't have health problem he could probably give USA maybe as well Germeny a harder time. To be honest, If Misugi didn't have health problem, he probably gonna working with Tsubasa on MF and dominated those area, alesat Japan wouldn't lose badly.

Japan would have easily dominated the world had Misugi and Tsubasa been in charge of the midfield. But even when he is plagued by his disease, Misugi is the leader of the backline as Tsubasa takes care of the frontline.

Misugi is among these guys, but the worst way possible. I admire him because no matter what, he won’t give up finding his way to be among the top once again after 10 years, if you have read Rising sun you will understand what i mean
