Fantastic idea at first I was confused but then it all made sense in the end and will be even better once I have my dies. It must have taken ages to work it all out so thank you for sharing. I subscribed and can now watch all your lovely videos.

To Susan Tanner, I’m sorry but I can’t see your comment on you tube only see it on email. If you haven’t made a memory book before I would advise you start with a normal spine. This way you will get the hang of making them. I devised this book as I wanted the bigger pages. Make your first book out of cheap card that way you are not wasting money using your best card.

Hi Tamara, I am new to your channel and want to thank you so much for sharing and making tutorials for newbies like myself..:). You create lovely projects. I want to try this book but was wondering if you have a list of supplies for your videos?
@TamaraMortonCrafts6 жыл бұрын
Hi Debbie, thank you for your lovely comment. Supplies you will need are: - Cardstock - no more than 300gsm and no less than 240gsm in weight. Redliner tape in 1/2" and 1/4" sizes. 12 x12 scrapbook paper I have used all my odd papers on this album so they came from different companies. Tonic Dies - Memory book 2 and the spine die, Wonderfall dies, memory book 1 dies, Bunting dies, metal closures and handles. PVA glue. Thatt's what I can remember. If there is a pacific item you want to know about please ask. Hope this helps a little. I had thought I had included a supply list but I must of been dreaming as I have looked over the videos and couldn't find one. x

Hi Tamara, Thank you for taking the time to put together these videos! Just curious, on the back, why do you put tape on each side of the hinges where they will stick together for the big spine? Could you not save a little tape and just use one strip to stick the hinge parts together, like you did for the little spine you did towards the end of the video? Looking forward to seeing some of your completed albums :) Cheers, Karin

Hi, Tamara...I have two questions for you..how did you glue all the panels together? Another question for you is..how did you determine where to position the double sided tape both in the front of the panel and at the back? I have gotten as far as putting all the panels together, but not 100% sure if it was correct or not. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks again for everything

I use double sided tape to glue together. If you have score taps or hi - tac red line tape. I used the score lines on the spine as my guide as where to position my tape. You have a thick column and then two smaller columns together. On one side of the spine, put tape only in the smaller columns. Flip the spine over and cover each column with tape (this will be the back side of your spine.

Yaaayyyyyy!!!!! I DID IT!!!!' Thank you so much!!!! ...I was really "petrified " but thanks to you... I was able to do it. The only difference though, I ended up with 8 spines versus 6. Can't figure out what went wrong with my calculations. That's okay though... I can always eliminate two. Again, thank you for your prompt responses and patience. I truly appreciate your help. Now, onwards to the next steps....

Dani Cariaso I’m so glad you managed it. If you was still stuck I Would have done a Facebook live and gone though it step by step. I would love to see your finished album when you finish it. xx

Sorry, but I would need to see how you pieced together all of the spine from the beginning. If you cut them in half, turn one upside down, stick the two pieces together in the middle, how do you attach them to another two, until you have six stuck together? Do you have to back them onto card? Here's one I made earlier in Blue Peter fashion doesn't help me. Step by step tutorials, please.

Hi Gaynor, thank you for your comment. I can see what you are saying and will in future tweek my videos. I have uploaded a new video explaining how to attach the front and back cover to the spine. Really hope this explains.

I’m not sure what you mean as apart from the plastic backing from the double sided tape I don’t use any other plastic. You could always use glue as an alternative. Thank you for your comment
