Suzie, if your boots are a smidge tight, best way to stretch them is hold a hair dryer on heat setting (while wearing them) for a few minutes over the tight parts. The leather warms up. Then wear them straight away it will stretch slightly to your foot shape. Works every time for me.

Re increasing levels of homelessness, it's so shameful that a few have so much - more than anyone could ever need - while many don't even have a roof over their head. I wish we could all just share what we have. There would be enough for EVERYONE.

I'm not a fan of the French tuck. It always looks like people can't dress themselves properly or have dressed in the dark or in a rush! However, it does seem popular so it's obviously just me!

@@nannybluebelle8643 I think it's one of those trends that people will look back on in years to come and ask 'what were they thinking?' rather like the trend when my son was a teenager and it was the done thing to wear trousers mid hip. I was forever shouting at him 'pull your trousers up, mummy can see your pants!' I had to bite my tongue to stop myself from saying the same to strangers on the street. Now I have to bite my tongue to stop myself pointing out to people they haven't tucked their shirt in properly. That look is understandable, just, for school boys but in adults I think it just looks sloppy.

Hi Suzie the beautiful blouse you are wearing is better fully out rather than half tucked. What does others think? Just love it!!

I was thinking the same, the French tuck blouses the side that’s tucked in so some of the material hangs over, if that makes sense. The whole side is not completely tucked in.

I have a non painful bunion starting too. The joys of ageing! Helen Mary Jo who has a KZbin channel swears by Calla shoes which are apparently bunion friendly. Might be something to look at. There's nothing worse than spoiling the shape of a lovely pair of shoes when trying to accommodate a bunion!

Hi Suzi, I can recommend getting a 'woollen' duvet, I got mine in John Lewis last year and it is the best duvet I have every had, warm straight away and breathable so you do not overheat overnight. Mine is a 'Devon Duvets' duvet that J. Lewis don't stock anymore as they have their own make, then they do a really expensive one too, 'Floks'. My Devon duvets are brilliant. Thanks for your lovely vlog, I must have a cycle along to Rottendean next time I'm down to Brighton, looks really good. I live quite near Peter Jones, its a beautiful store, they will have there xmas stuff soon and the restaurant on the top floor which has great views over west London, in fact the whole top floor has a brilliant 360 degree view much like your Brighton donut, ha!

Oooh I must go to the restaurant! I need a very light duvet and don't change them between summer and winter, isn't wool very warm? I just throw a throw on and my new flat is going to be very hot. I will have a look though so thank you. Suzi x

@@AlternativeAgeing I have a mid tog duvet and don't change from season to season. In the very height of the summer I pack the duvet away and use a linen throw otherwise the same duvet stays on my bed year round. I also live in a very warm apartment so I don't need a heavier duvet even in the depths of winter. Wool is breathable and as such regulates your temperature so that you're always comfortable. Well, that's my experience anyway. I discovered wool duvets when I was replacing my last duvet, years ago now. I'd heard terrible things about down duvets and didn't want to be part of that but nor did I want a synthetic duvet. I was on the horns of that uncomfortable dilemma when I discovered wool duvets. It's an eco friendly option that just so happens, in my opinion, to be the best option. However, they are expensive and not everyone can afford that outlay so I make no judgement on those who do opt for down or synthetic duvets.

Hi Suzie. I like you have a newly formed Bunion on my left foot above my big toe. It was painful but has settled down to non painful after my self care. Walking around the house or on the beach with no shoes on does wonders as it aligns your feet which makes a huge difference. Also very soft leather upper shoes that dont put any pressure on the bunion is the way to go. No flip flop footwear untill your bunion settles down as flip flops put strain and pressure on your new bunion. I learnt this self care by searching Utube on bunion self care.

With regard to bunions Suzie. My sister had hers removed surgically and it has come back. I have them on both feet but the left one is getting problematical. You made a very smart statement Re: moving to your new place. You were looking at furniture and commented that you don't need a lot of furniture. When you do move live with what you have for a while, you will discover what you truly need and where things feel right for you. Take your time, and when you do need something you don't have, you won't feel so guilty about purchasing something that will add to your happiness. Good luck Suzie🎉💕💕
