I wasn't even aware any of them besides Voodoo were classified as magic. As for another suggestion, what about Alex Wilder? Could He be used for anything? He delved in street magic for a bit then got screwed and is now half-dead. Honestly he's probably got the shortest end of the stick ever in terms of team comic books.

I only recently discovered you and blerds videos. Much respect to you both. I'm making my way through both your catalogs as I can so forgive me if you've already done what I'm about to suggest. Lesser known black characters who get no love. Cage, Storm, BP etc show up on most black lists. I'd like to get your thoughts on the likes of Prowler, Rage. The 70s Thunderbolt, Skyrocket, and especially Charcoal (who in my opinion was the ultimate Thing/Human Torch combo and was killed by marvel for financial reasons). Love you work and thanks for the time you put into it.

Jinx was a magical character from marvels Darkhold series, (came out same time as the first Midnight Sons series). Had the domino motif over his eye before Domino of X-Force. His power was basically the ultimate magical potential. He could perform magic untrained. His grandmother was a member of the Darkhold Redeemers I think. After she's killed he joins and is eventually sent to the Vatican for training (guess Strange & Voodoo were too busy). I think I last saw him mentioned in the Civil War Battle Damage Report. Tony Stark or Cap mentions him as a potential recruit.

I dont know if you are still taking suggessions, but appently David Alleyne AKA Prodigy has the abiliity to telepathically mimic the knowledge and skills of individuals in his proximity. It was stated in Marvel Database that he was able to mimic the abilities of Dr Strange at one point. This would make him an all around support character for the team.

Calypso is a mystical Caribbean character. She was kravens partner in crime who fought Spider-Man. Marvel could develop that character more and have her to be involved whenever brother voodoo or blade has mystical endeavors. Or they could expand upon storms relative. She could have cousin who is mystical.

You're wrong about Storm. Her magic potential has been explored at least once in the Marvel Universe. The miniseries Magik shows a version of Storm from an alternate timeline who not only learned magic but taught it to Illyana Rasputin, which is partially why she became mystic master she is now.

Displaying her magic powers once in a miniseries in a non-canon universe isn’t exploring her abilities. That’s simply Marvel letting you know it can happen but they wont do it in the main stories.

Awesome list my guy! And here are some characters I could think of that's magic/supernatural related: Even though Prodigy can't use magic, he has some knowledge about it due to him absorbing some of Doctor Strange's magical knowledge. Darkveil and Silhouette are both mutants that can control the Darkforce to some degree. The X-Men mutant Gentle utilizes vibranium tattoos to keep his powers under control. Power Man (Victor Alvarez) abilities are also esoteric/mystical in nature. He had a part in defeating Shuma-Gorath one time before. And Alex Wilder temporarily had magic powers when he struck a deal with Chadoe. But he was a villain at that time.

Storms Ancestors has a long line of witches and one of her ancestors was a sorcerer Supreme along with the fact that her bloodline is blessed by an African God. Its also the reason why she was able to take eternity into her body only something that people like Dr strange Dr voodoo and Scarlet witch r capable of. There is a lot of evidence that points to the extreme amount of Magical potential Storm actually has (in fact she even practiced a little magic). As for Shuri again idk how that was a stretch the whole mythos of Black panther is based on Magical herbs and African Gods..😂😂 Its even well known that the Wakandan family has a natural affinity with Bast and her Champions inherit some of her abilities. The reason why Black panther didn't for a long while is because Bast and the other Orishas abandoned Wakanda for the Galactic Wakandan empire.

@@dawolf856 Another fact I forgot to mention is now Storm is a literal Goddess so idk if that helps ur disbelief she went head to head with an African God and was able to disperse these Storms that came another dimension. The way it was described was through the Worship of the Wakandan peoples along with Black panther she transcended into something called Godhood and was able to tap into divine energy which allowed her to disperse the mystical Storms. Now I will admit that the whole magical, Godhood thing with Storm is very much underdeveloped so I definitely understand why ur side eyeing it. Hopefully in the Giant size x man one shot shes getting they will delve in deeper into her new found identity. She also seems to have this mystical place inside her mind that looks very similar to the ancestral plane of Wakanda so they r dropping a lot of hints.

I don't think he was reaching, vol 6 of Black Panther by Coates shows Shuri getting her mystical powers and becoming Aja Adanna. As far as Storm goes, it's been said for years that her bloodline has magic in it.

9:18 Storm’s magic capabilities have been shown off before. In the Magik: Illyana and Storm limited series by Chris Claremont. An older storm who got stuck in limbo, while her powers were weakening started resorting to her magical roots. She taught Illyana Rasputin (Colossus sister) white magic, she could heal, magic blast, astral projection, telepathy to a degree, and was taking on Belasco, a powerful ass demon. That was her at her weakest too. Storm would be busted as hell if they explored her magic 😭So they’d have a lot to work with frfr if they did a team like this. Great video bruh🙏🏾

You can use Calypso. She a villain but she very powerful...probably up there with Doctor Voodoo when it comes to hoodoo. There also Vertigo the granddaughter of Agatha Harkness. If you can't use Storm, then use her great, great, great, great grandmother Ashake, who is presently in the 616 universe.

I suggest you do more research on the Ancient Egyptians and the Loa or The Orishas. They are our ancestors and that's y our ancestors worshipped or honoured them. Storm is pretty much the Orisha Oya who is the Orisha of storms. She is the Orisha Shango's wife. Shango is the Orisha of Lightning and Fire. Thor is pretty much the whitewashed version of Shango. Stan Lee and the other guy who started Marvel Comics know exactly who we are. Amen Ra is a brother and I actually talked to him in a dream recently. He is a brown skinned brother with a nice physique maybe around 6 ft or so but not real tall. Please do yourself a favor and do more research on our ancestors. The white man know fully well our ancient history and they masquerade it in our faces without most of us being aware of our true history.

Sango has already been shown in the Marvel comics he even went up against Thor. As for Oya for some reason she has never been mentioned when talking about the Orishas. The closest we got a Nigerian mutant girl who called herself Oya. While Storm does has a lot in common with Oya she isn't her. As u said she is Sango wife.

Did I miss something would the Panther God be a part of the team? 🤔.(I know you said Bast. Also I think of PG to be female). My version of the team dynamic is Dr Voodoo as chairman/teacher during non mission times. Tactical control could rotate. I have a question about Blade. Blade is over 100+ years old. Would you reboot Eric Brooks to be equal or a little older than Cloak? How about just a little older than Storm? DV would guide and instruct them in the different forms of their magic. Cloak= Loa(dark force). Blade = Blood magic (donated). I'm not sure when it comes to Shuri and Storm. My first though would be elemental magic for Storm. The Panther God and ancestor worship for Shuri. A minor thought is have Cloak, Shuri, and Storm learn the Loa. Blade learning blood magic alone. I'm going to look up those kids at Doctor Strange's Academy. If Blade is left at 100+ and Cloak is over 21 but under 35 another teenager or two with Shuri would be nice.

What was the purpose of this? Marvel doesn't specifically have a team that's "All White" people who have say...Magic Powers". Then why even make this video? You for some reason forget that Stan Lee and friends made the X-Men to include people of ALL nationalities not just Black or White or anything. While I agree with all of your choices except Shuri.
