Anytime you change one belt, you should do them all. It saves you time, and they don't cost much.

Just a heads up u can pop fuel rail out and pull altenator out without messing with master cylinder.

If I do remove the fuel rail for the alternator, do I have to go under the car/wheel well?

@@MiguelLopez-hh7lf Off of memory yes u will have to to go bellow to get bottom altenator bolt out. U may be able to get away without taking off wheel and side fender liner peice but it made it easier to get belts on and such

This is literally the hardest longest most unnecessary way to do this job. Simply remove fuel rail and you are golden

Hey, man, this vid has helped me so much! But, I'm at the last step of pulling out the alternator. I see you moved the master cylinder, how did you undoe the master cylinder?

There's 2 bolts, 1 on each side...just unscrew those 2 along with the line that go into it and you can just take that little piece out👍

Yeah the inner bolt and completely ceased on mine on the braket at 6:10 . I guess its time to grab the torch

Modified_Life oh yeah, that’s the least of my problems, the lower bolt on the alternator won’t come out, I have the nut off but I can’t get the damn thing to come out

ЯyantheDolphiИ on the other side of the bolt there's a little piece that is showing...use a hammer or malet to hit the end so that there will be some space between the bolt head and the place where it meets, then you can just pull it out..let me know how it goes

I want to upgrade to a competition amp but am afraid I am going to break my shitbix car I love. I know the axle won't come off. I tried all kinds of ways but that axel is on to the death of the car. Looks like I better look up how to bleed break, just incase.

What’s the bolt size for the alternator? I know the 3 bracket bolt, what’s the one where it attaches to the alternator?

I believe it's a 14mm bolt

U need a new power steering o ring for pressure hose to power steering unit

you did a crap load of work and went out of your way not to remove the axle to get the alternator out. would have been easier and wouldnt have to bleed your ps or brakes if you just removed the axle

hmm, I loosened master cylinder and got it to fit down past without bleeding or axle.. that center belt is around the drive axle though so have to remove it to change that belt

Instead of taking off the master cylinder you could have taken the bottom bracket off and it would been easier

Scott King after loosening the top bolt I just pushed it to the left where you have less tension on the belt
