Around 5:50 didn't the other guy okay vanity. How could the other player use el shaddol fusion ?

He chained it, and chains resolve backwards so el shadoll goes off first, then vanities, then regular fusion

The Kuribandit well youre right but its also because jeff had turn player priority so his spell speed 3 was faster than vanitys. if it had been the ba players turn he wouldnt have been able to do that.

he chained el shaddoll to his own shaddoll fusion so it resolved first because vanity's resolves last in the chain
