그녀는 한부모인데 아주 잘 해내고 있어요. 비록 아버지의 회사이긴 하지만 회계 장부 담당자(?) 일을 하면서 두 아이를 혼자서 키우고 있어요, 어머니의 도움을 좀 받긴 해도 말이에요. 그래도 할 일 많죠. 근데 그럼에도 불구하고 대학원에 다니기까지 해요. 아이들과 어머니의 희생이 어느 정도 있는 것은 사실이지만 미래를 위해 필요한 투자죠.
She's a single parent, but she's handling it very well. She's a full-time bookkeeper, although it's at her father's company. But, she's raising two kids by herself, albeit with some help from her mother. Still, it's a lot of work. And yet, she somehow finds the time and energy to put herself through graduate school. Granted, it is somewhat at the cost of her children and her mother, but it is a necessary investment for the future.

Thank you for these useful expressions! I changed my career about a half year ago although I was old to start new career, I guess. However, I have really enjoyed my new job so far and learned a lot of new thing albeit with extra efforts. Granted, it is somewhat at the cost of my free time even after work, but I hope I get promoted this year!

come across 는 자주 쓰이는 phrasal verb 인데 그 뜻이 몇가지 종류가 있어서 혼동 될수 있습니다. 미국에서 자주 쓰이는 두가지 예를 들면: 1. 가다/오다 우연히 만나다/찾다 -I came across our old college friend John at the store yesterday. He said he just moved here. -I was surfing the web and came across this winter jacket you wanted at 50% off sale. 2. 인상을 남기다 -I met her for the first time last Saturday. She came across to me as a very intelligent person. -Be careful about John. He may come across as a friendly guy but he has a bad temper.

궁금하면 Cambridge 사전에 phrasal verb 검색하시면 잘나와요 어떻게 쓰냐에따라 다르기도하구여 일단 예시로 잇는 문장만봐도 2번째 예시는 to가 필요하자나요? 한글로 영어 배울땐 뭐랄까 같은 단어가 왜두가지뜻을 가지는지 설명이진짜부족햇는데 영어로보면 어느정도 이해는가요

I have a small dream. Although I'm a mother of two sons and l go to work everyday so l don't have much time. but I want to run my own flower shop someday. I was surprised how ignorant I was still, albeit not making an extra effort to learn outside of work. I might have heard of it before but just passed it without understanding. 오늘도 감사합니다 ! He is a single parent since his divorce sometime ago. but he is juggling his reponsibillities of family and his job very well albeit way far away from his place. His kids understand the circumstances and even try to show him how much they love him and they concern about both his well-being and his work so that he can manage to make it and nothing doesn't pull him down. Granted he is working here and there all over the country. he tries to get back home to see them and go grocery shopping together whenever things allow him to.

I'm planning to renovate my house by myself. Although I don't have any license related to construction fields, there's nothing wrong with any legal problem as long as I have ownership.
