Thank you. Very helpful. I just got my internship as EE, I have to design few PCB's. Your video rocks.

Very good and well thought out tutorials. I’ve been using Altium for a while now ( Orcad convert ) but even so I learn a few shortcuts I didn’t know on each video. Thanks!

Very well explained demonstrating the keyboard shortcuts and what you do at each step. Would be great if you can make a few videos on the simulation side of Altium. Cheers, Ant

Great video! Awesome tricks! Maybe you could teach castellated vias in another video? or maybe a video on coding in that query box in the design rules window... thanks for the AD lesson!

Your tutorials are great, thank you. Can you make a video showing how to design a controlled impedance track ? Let's suppose i have to connect my GSM module to a SMD antenna thru a 50ohm track for example. Thanks.

I like the videos you have posted, very helpful for someone just learning Altium. From a power supply designer, do you have any discussing via in pad and stitching vias?

Awesomeness! Altium should send you wads of cash.

Great videos! I know it's been a while, but if you are still in the business of these types of things a tutorial on hacking complex boards which already exist as an Altium project would be interesting. Say adding a mating board to board connector to something like the OpenLogicSniffer (OLS) design. Cheers!

Thank you for posting this tuto. You must make more tutorials like this. I have just only one question. Can we save these rules to use in orthers project?
@thargor2k12 жыл бұрын
great video, one question though: is there a simple way to change the via to e.g. the through-hole via even if I'm just going from layer 1 to layer 2?

I'm having problems when I autoroute a double layer board. My components are on the top layer and I need to solder them on the bottom and hence would like all my pads on the bottom. After autorouting some of my components have traces to their pads on both the bottom and top layer. Is there a rule or something that makes autoroute place a via outside the components instead go through the pads?

I've got an error in Altium right when I try to add a layer it tells me "No signal or plane layer selected"... What do I have to do to solve this issue?
@vincentnadon11 жыл бұрын
Forget it I found it, you have to select the first layer in the Image of the PCB to get it working!
