We focus on a 4-layer PCB as that is the best place to start for new engineers. This is perfect base knowledge to have once we go into impedance matching and blind and buried vias :)

The one thing I wanted know was how you add the layers in altium. You skipped that bit by just putting up a "press + Add layers". That is the one thing that Altium confuses me on and you missed it out. altium is confusing at the best of time, and I have been using it for years. When they change versions everything changes and I'm back to square one.
