Tom Oleksik Woww! It must be amazing to live that close to it and go so often. I find the drive there and back really hard, because you have to leave home at 6am to make it worth it. Then driving back is so tiring and grim :( I'm definitely going to go this summer I think x

Ace! I absolutely adore Alton Towers. Theres an game/app you can download which makes the queue for The Smiler much more bearable. You aim the camera at certain wall graphics and things come to life on your phone screen and you unlock stuff for the game. ^^

I've stayed in the Splash Landing's hotel at Alton Park it's really amazing. There's all you can eat food and a swimming pool as well as the monorail being not so far away. The only thing is is that we stayed for three days and had gold fast track the second day so we easily ran out of things to do so two days would be better :)

slo-mo- tion Oh thats cool! Would you recommend the Splash Landings Hotel? Two days it is then! Was the gold fast track good? I've always considered getting it, but never gotten round to it

The other hotel is a lot more sophisticated and expensive, I haven't been inside but looked around and there's a lot more couples/older visitors. Splash Landing's is ideal for friends and familys. We got to Alton Towers in the afternoon and chose to use the gold passes the next day so that we had a full day. We went in summer so the passes helped get past long queues(especially The Smiler 2hr 30 min wait since it was new at the time) but we a lot of the queues went very quickly so we ran out of things to do. Then again it was only me and my mum, with friend's you won't run out of things to do as easily :)

slo-mo- tion Yeah, I waited 3 hours for the smiler! It was crazy :) It does sound worth it if you're going in the summer! I will definitely look into getting the passes and probably staying in Splash Landings. I would go with some friends and my sister I think next time, I don't think we would run out of things to do necessarily.

Your voice is so relaxing! I'm usually not a fan of any sort of whispering, but your voice is soothing to me. Do you have any videos that doesn't have a lot of tapping? I love tapping sounds but I think when it's overly forced and intentional it sort of kills the effect (for me personally). So I would love to see some semi-unintentional ASMR stuff if you have it :)

So, this was my gateway to ASMR and still one of my fav videos but is there any way to upload another version with the exposure/brightness bumped down? It's always so bright, even on my screen's dimmest setting. Other than that, this and you are perfect :)

There's a movie I like that has this bit in it where the two main characters trace a map of ancient Rome with their fingers. I found myself putting that movie on and just replaying those 30 seconds, but I didn't really know why. Finally, I figured there had to be something like it on KZbin, but much longer, so I searched "pointing/tracing a map" through a length filter and all these ASMR videos came up. Most were drawing maps or no-words pointer tapping, but your video was just what I was looking for! I've been a subscriber ever since :) I imagine it was a bit difficult to rig everything up to get the detail of the maps while displaying them in full. And omg that would be amazing, thanks :D
