For those who are wondering, SW1 and SW2 were a prototype of arrows pipeline coaster (which never opened) John Wardley, who designed the ride, thought the ride wasn't exiting enough. That is why the first two secret weapons never opened.

The rides were combined (ish) in 1993 to create nemisis as ride animations that were guided by Mr. Wardley show if you kinda put the rides together invert the track and add a couple more turns you've got nemisis.

It's not really that secretive. It was an experinental Arrow pipeline coaster, that was purposely built for both SW1 and SW2. SW1 didn't happen because of funding issues, and SW2 failed because John Wardley found the prototype to be "boring" for a roller coaster.

No. It would've had the coke overlay, the Rehydrator would've looked different, Black Hole would be present, and most notably, the camera quality would be significantly better. It was filmed in 2016, when The Smiler's face was covered on the Rehydrator after the accident.

Secret Weapon just means hype. The 'world first' elements are also just for the sake of advertising, the novelty usually adds little to the ride experience overall, although it's cool that Alton Towers want to try different ideas. Don't let it get in the way of making great rides though. Look how Nemesis wasn't a world first and wasn't advertised as a 'european first', but instead it was a classic coaster because it was focussed on being a brilliant thrill ride instead. Most UK parks (Merlin) unfortunately make coasters to fit the advert now and not the other way around.
