Altrive is not correct about how tower XP works. The way it works is that there is a total XP for the round that is divided among the towers on the map. The amount that each tower gets is determined by its cost. So if you had say a round with 200 total Xp with 3 upgraded dart monkeys worth about $700 and a ninja monkey worth about $1300 then dart would receive 70 xp and ninja would get 130 xp. It doesn’t matter how much popping the tower is doing just that it’s on the map.
