Great, I am happy that this is actually helping lot of people, same happened with me I used to sleep with our smart key next to me and was so habitual of this that without even opening eyes I used to press the lock button everyday in the morning when the cleaner came to clean car, so 1 day I looked closely and found that there are 2 wires below that trigger horn and as they were simple couplers I removed them, used car that way for good 3-4 months confirmed that it does not honk and then posted this video.

I have XZ plus cng just bought 12days before...same issue facing continuously..may be it is for any function on in car...also while applying body cover, if Bonut feel some pressure, the alarm honking....Hope when we remove the connection..it will not affect any warrenty...

It has nothing to do with warranty sir, you are just removing / unplugging the couplers you are not cutting any wires so don't worry. I've been using my Altroz with those couplers removed for over 3 years now everything works perfectly fine and my car does not honk if pressure applied on bonnet while cleaning car or anything.

Try this exact same method with your Tata Punch, locate these 2 wires as per reports from some of my frnds Punch has these 2 wires somewhere in the center below your bonnet, once you find them unplug both the wires and test your car's behaviour for 48 hours, if all works fine i.e. if your car alarm does not sound then please update here saying it worked for you, that way I'll be sure that this method is indeed working for Tata Punch as well

Bro I also face same problem removed both the couplers. As I can See the comments it seems to be a common problem for Altroz and Punch right? Thanks bro I have removed both the couplers will update if I get the alarm sound again. Have one more isse getting an alert that states TPMS system fault contact service center. I tried to reset TPMS but it is disabled. Anyway to enable it? Am not able change to sports modee I have Altroz Xz Plus iturbo petrol.

I've had enough visits at the service center in my early ownership days when car was new, honestly I stopped getting bothered by it and now when you asked me this again I just realised that my car doesn't rattle from left side door anymore rather it rattles from everywhere else 🤣😂 due to bad broken Mumbai roads

Jokes apart I saw a video long back somewhere in which a person explained that the rattling sound is actually your battery touching/rubbing your cars metal body portion inside engine bay area and if you put a padding in between those two parts then the rattling should stop, Tata service center guys tell some nonsense about door sound updation every time you go to SC but that will surely not help you as it didn't help me as well, let me see if I'm able to find that video and I'll paste the video link here

That issue is indeed connected to to this issue, your bonnet fitment is not proper that is why even if all doors are properly shut still your car honks once when you press lock, this same this was happening with me after I did this removing those 2 wires it does not happen issue will be 100% fixed, try it and update me for sure.

I have Ceramic Coating on my car sir, that too 1 year back that's why it shine so well and I literally use normal water like a wet cloth to clean it nothing else, if there is dust on car I wipe it using Jopasu Duster which is available on Amazon

What mileage gives your diesel altroz on highway, have you checked from tank to tank method?

Tank to Tank if you drive carefully like not more than 85-90 speed then you get around 24-25 kmpl if you drive fast like 120 or so then 20-21 kmpl mileage

Sure sir you can first try to check if you have same like these wires somewhere inside your engine bay and if you find them then you can try this and make sure there are no check engine lights on your instrument cluster

Bhai ye Anti Theft System ka trick nahi hai. Isse bonnet open ka alarm off hota hai bass. Agar kisi car me Tailgate open alarm ka problems hota hai to ye kam nahi karta.

@@lubinn Believe me if you had this issue it will not get resolved even after showing to service center, this is a manufacturing defect, service center will fix it but it will again start in 1 or 2 months

In my Punch, After locking car, after 1 hour car honks with flash. Today went to service center but they are not able to solve the issue, so will remove the coupler. In punch switch is in centre.

@@daninwheels1006 Sure bro, I am taking it to service center as well, will keep you posted. I complained to tata motors for this issue and told them many customers are facing this issue. it's due to improper bonet fitment.

@@hrishikeshpatil8598 Was that earlier car a Maruti Suzuki ?, if yes then it has 3 levels of sensitivity if you set it or unknowingly it has been set to level 3 then even if you shout or clap very close to car it will sound for 5-10 secs and then shut off, this is present in all Suzuki cars even now
