Sweet rig man. Ive been on a bass boat kick for years but started looking at these type of rigs...something like this is definitely more versatile, especially considering the type of fishing I do.

I have the same exact boat, motor and trolling motor bought in 2020. Tons of room which i really like. Best bang for your buck back then. Sounds like Alumacraft has jumped up the price very close to the Lund Pro Guide which I would get now for the same price. BTW You can fit up to a Helix 10 in the storage which I really like to use. The ladder I thought was a bit strange until I started thinking about how would I get back into the boat if I feel out especially as I’m getting older? Makes a lot of sense. Hope you’re enjoying your boat!

I love that boat. I have a G3 1710 sportsman with the same vmax 90. I’m seriously considering selling or trading it in for one of those with the same motor. I have a 13.5x16 prop on my vmax 90 and the G3 runs 38mph on gps. There’s so much more storage on that boat than the sportsman.

The starting battery is charged by the engine yes. The two batteries for the trolling motor have a built in charger attached to them that I plug in at home
@JustinHallowesOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
@@Wisconsin_Fisherman thanks. is there any way possible to hook up the trolling batteries to the on board charging system. or would that be to much for the engine?
@Wisconsin_Fisherman3 жыл бұрын
You could, but you would not want the trolling motor to be able to draw from the starting battery. They make a Dc charger that will charge them off the engine

Hey Mitchell, the boat handles pretty good without it! Defiantly need it on the 150's but they do make a kit for the 90 I don't think its necessary at this time. Thank you!

How do you keep your tiller handle from falling down while traveling? Mine rubs on the back deck over the battery. I have the same boat and motor, I use the wedge while traveling

You should have your motor trimmed down most of the way. There should be pressure against your handle. Sounds like you have your motor trimmed really high causing the handle to drop
