Thanks for putting this up! Now I just need about 12 more hours of this.

2:05 --> That chunk of material in the middle of the hole have the potential of jamming between the cutting tool and the part, the consequence being damage to the part and/or the tool. Next time, please turn it into chips (by adding another pass), it's merely gonna add five seconds of cycle time, and greatly reduce the risk of breaking something. Other than that, fantastic video, fantastic machine !

Amazing, thanks for sharing. Hi-def Kern footage is always appreciated ;)

Impressive Marv! Higher MRR than I typically do on my HSK63 or 40 taper machines, especially when taking into account how fast the linking moves are.

I would love to see the part of the code that generates the toolpath (i.e control of all axis ...) for this. It's not that hard in principle, but still

For those wondering: Everying in this video except 1 clip is realtime and not sped up. Can you guess which single sequence is not at original (realtime) speed ? :)

0:23 Wie ist das mit der Maximalen zulässigen Schnittgeschwindigkeit gemeint? Die ist ja abhängig von dem Werkzeugdurchmesser
@MarvGro3 жыл бұрын

Tolerance 0.0013mm after mill? May be 0.013?

Do you mean the toolpath tolerance?
@user-qn8nm3gy6d3 жыл бұрын
@@angrydragonslayer 2.40 cyl 32 tolerance 0.0013mm maybe after lapping...
@angrydragonslayer3 жыл бұрын
@@user-qn8nm3gy6dthat's not part tolerance but rather toolpath tolerance, telling the machine how far from the programmed toolpath it is allowed to stray to maintain speed. With cycle 32 active, the machine may for example replace sharp turns (such as a 90° bend) with a fillet of the specified tolerance to prevent the machine from completely stopping when undertaking the turn.
@angrydragonslayer3 жыл бұрын
I highly recommend googling it or looking in the owners manual for your control system
