Aluminium Wake Boat - Build Compilation

Cheers mate. I had a rough concept in my head but I really just slapped 4 sheets of aluminium together and designed it as she came together. No plans at this stage but if someone was to want some cad drawings it wouldn't be too hard to draw up. Every piece of aluminium in this boat was cut by hand, no CNC here :)

Unbelievable work, do you have any plans or sketches, I come from Germany and would like to build a copy of your boat and the whole thing as a cad , in return you get the cad plans and can sell them if you want. so I would be very happy to hear from you.

12 Months from sheets of aluminium on the shed floor to floating in the water. Although it is still in progress 4 years on with all the tweeking, additions and upgrades that we keep on adding to it.

Chev 350 (Mercruiser 260) with a Borg Warner FNR Velvet drive with 1.5:1 reduction. Currently getting stroked to 388 (6.35L) and full blueprint to get some more go up it.

Hey Mate, Whilst it is not impossible, it will take a bit of time and effort to do up some plans as I built it off a couple of rough sketches and an idea in my head. Rough guess you are looking at a weeks+ work to get some plans drawn, if you are serious go to lizardyachts.com.au/ and get in contact. Not making any promises. It goes great on the water and has it's benefits and some drawbacks. Best bits are the giant skeg and the propeller pocket that allow me to beach it and not be too concerned with mashing the prop. The relative flat bottom provides nice wake, low draft, awesome stability and a good/low fit on the trailer but requires ballasting of the boat in moderate to heavy chop. Not an issue with pump in/out tanks and I only go through chop to get home, don't really go out on shitty days. Have done some mods but I'm really pleased with it. Go to wake.com.au , get a login and search 'aluminium wake boat' for the whole build from a sheet of aluminium on the floor to on the water and any current additions :)

video clipped a bit fast framed? Have built lots of welded ally boats but the pace left me to stop and start- with the annoying musical track... had to stop and down vote the video but there may be a really good build here? Presentation wasn't acceptable.
