Removing stains is easier than removing oxidization. No cleaner not needing gloves and eye protection will touch oxidization.

Much better than elbow grease for sure. It looks like it works ok, but check out Purple Power Aluminum Brightener. 30 seconds wait time, one application, and the oxidation and grime washes off like nothing. You can literally watch it eat up the crud as you are applying it. This stuff from West Marine is $33 for 64oz./ 1/2 gallon (as of 2022), I picked up 128oz/ one gallon of Purple Power brightener at Blain's Farm and Fleet yesterday for $11.99. No contest....

i left it on for 5 min then sprayed it off , it didnt hurt my stripes , if you have a painted aluminum boat dont use this., find something special for paint.

Toonbrite from Walmart works just as good, if you use a scrub pad it works better
