@Weikun Zheng In the light novel, any sword can be used with 2 handed sword skills provided the handle has enough space for two hands, so it being used with two hands here makes more sense "in canon" than you probably think. Kirito has used Cyclone (a 2 handed sword skill) with another sword that's identical in proportions to the elucidator (his night sky sword in underworld).

@Weikun Zheng What I just said isn't really mentioned in the anime, but funnily enough this is the light novel version of Elucidator (you can tell because of the gross at the end of the blade) so it makes sense. Also, I say identical proportions because (another thing that was cut out from the anime) Kirito requested the dimensions of the sword to be identical to the Elucidator because of his fondness for it.

There are other parts of the story and season 3 and 4 is the best one yet even if it takes a while to understand. SAO is still a pretty good anime and people are just hating it because it keeps on jumping back and fourth on different scenes but there are other animes that are way worse that do the same thing so the hate is totally not necessary. You should totally try to watch the anime. I recommend it.

It's not like dual wielding is all that common I don't think. Besides, one-handed is more of a suggestion, it's light enough to swing with one arm but swapping up as need be isn't bad and in this case it's fine...or rather, 2 hands for control is probably advisable.
