Alumni in Action: Geothermal energy to speed up the energy transition

Alumni Freek Smit and Beer van Esser tell about the geothermal project on the campus of TU Delft and why applied earth scientist engineers are important for our future. Both are involved in the project: Freek as Assistant Drill Supervisor for Aardyn BV, and Beer as Operational Project Manager for the TU Delft. Both graduated from the master’s programme in Applied Earth Sciences in 2022 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at TU Delft.
