yeah just got done with this grind, took about 9k kills in total for all the 10 shards to drop with the last being around 2.5k kills so yeah its nerfed i think.

Depends i guess, i just farmed for abour 4 hours and got around 2k kills and didnt get a single shard

I wouldn't confirm that, sadly; I got all of my chitin for my Siesbarg quest chain in one go and didn't see a single shard drop for me. Saw two drop for two other people, though.

Video idea - it seems like you can farm/work towards multiple mounts at the same time. So maybe a video with a route/plan on how to combine them?

Thanks for the great video. Just got mine. It was indeed one hell of a grind. Same here, about 30 hours. I have ave a stable of alts so I was taking them to the first questing area at the Dal wreck and grinded the Narubians. I took the quests just to clear out all the extra stuff but did not turn them in. Leveled half a dozen 70s to 73 just by killing mobs. As far as the Alunira fight goes, she does pack a bit of a punch. I went up with a ilvl 579 Ret Pally and I definetly needed the healing. It didn't take a lot to take her down just had to be mindful on damage being taken. Again, thanks for the great video.

That's why Syiler is the GOAT! The community and Blizzard should be lucky to have players like him. He's providing us with guides and Blizzard with actual beta feedback and bug reports. Everyone else is just testing their new rotation for 20 minutes and is never seen again on beta

Ha probably crazy for sure but I wasn't just doing shard farming. A lot of it was double dipping while testing other things, like other mount acquisitions, mat grinding, professions, mob grind spots etc and I really wanted to know if the mount only dropped for one person at 100%

Omw spending my first 30 hours to get the mount, and then do the expansion afterward. Idc about getting into that extension really, I just returned so I can continue grinding transmog and mounts. + this mount really is shiny. Can't wait to put my hands on this one ! Thanks for the video ! cheers

Startes farming today at bee area, would advise making a 5 people team to take them down faster. Got my first shard after 3 about hours, also farmed around 500 items for the bee mount.

This will be a really nice mount to get first thing of my hunting down pets and mounts. I believe It'll likely drop at a very low chance as a from what I read in shadowlands there was similar thing done with fishing bait for the Deepstar Aurelid mount, you would have to make a special bait to catch the rare from the lake and who ever caught the rare would get it 100% but there was a few I had seen say they got it with out using the bait.

Its possible, it does show up as a rare that my beta char can kill again for loot but that may also just be flagged like that so that people who kill it without the shards arent doomed, hopefully it does drop on a low % though as otherwise its a bit silly of a grind, even with 2x4 farm groups it will take a while

@@ninjatvlv6101 yea it'll be some where around that kind of drop chance, wowhead says the Hirukon rare only had at most a 4% chance to drop the aurelid mount if you only helped defeat the rare rather then summoning it yourself.

Yeah luckily they buffed drop rates, its somewhere in the range of 1in500/1000 now

Pretty fun, stormbringer hero talents feel satisfying at times, totemic is still kind of awkward. The old TWW tier set was great with the wolves duration double but it got gutted into just being +1 wolf which definitely toned down a lot of the hype moments but tbf it needed it compared to everyone elses tier sets. Overall though if you enjoy the physical/nature damage playstyle of enhance then you should enjoy it

You did! That's one of the base talents for balance druid in TWW in believe, not even tied to a hero talent tree. It may even be a talent currently in DF for balance, I don't play it much so couldn't say for sure.

Id imagine 2x4 farms will pop up and drastically decrease the time to obtain it but youll probably want to have a druid prep'd for that if you decide to grind the shards out
