Hi I'm currently using a maver darkside series 3 pole I've noticed the top5 of the super lithium pole fits would purchasing the number 4 and 5 of a super lithium stiffen my pole much or would I need the top kits as well?

Hi Andrew. My knowledge of the Maver poles isn't that great at the moment. As I've never seen the Darkside Series 3. So I can't comment. The Super Lithium is an awesome bit of kit, seen Sam Brown use it and had a go with my mates. Very stiff and light. So I'd be careful have your top kits attached to 4 and then 5 attached to your 6 as it could unbalance and be a weak spot? But I'm NOT the person to ask. Hope this helps?

Cheers Chris just bought one, had a no4 snap on me probably down to me with the lumps you were landing lovely pole though particularly like how smooth it is shipping in and out thanks for reply 👍

Sorry to hear about the section. I've used the 821 in all sorts of situations, and haven't had any issues. It's been a very good pole to be fair. Was a little concerned using it at Willow at Ivy House Lakes catching great big uns... but its been mega, them fears soon left me.
