Its interesting to ask why he did not feature in the England set up in 1982..was he injured?..Him and Butcher should have been mainstays in that central defensive zone...Clough would have dustbin-ed Phil Thompson sadly not Greenwood..

For me it's exactly the difference in how I feel about Snoddy and Haller leaving : With Snoddy it's 'Thanks for putting in some great shifts for the team and best wishes for your future' With Haller it's more like 'The door is over there, close it behind you as you leave thanks'
