I came across your channel you make good content. I want to get into project management, but I also would like to know the time of progression if you could explain it. Would I have to start out as a project coordinator for three years and maybe become a project manager later on. Or moving into that project manager role depends on my hard work and experience.

Any one can progress from a Project Coordinator Role to that a Project Manager, I've seen it done with colleagues I've worked with throughout my career - biggest advice I can give you is be proactive and communicate to your manager your biggest wins, how you've helped the team and company succeed (quantify business metrics) and how you'd like to be considered for a project manager role in the next year or so

Glad to hear you're starting out as an IT Project Manager, I'd recommend looking into the PMP Certification or Agile Certification, depending on your level of experience

@@sohaibamjad2878 The Scrum Certification is a good starting point to build your starting knowledge in using the Scrum Framework. For entry-level scrum certifications, research the Professional Scrum Master Certification or the Certified Scrum Master Certification. (known as PSM or CSM) It's likely your company will reimburse you if you pursue it
