It should have probably left 2 songs out of the record and not get too crazy with the coke in order to not overextend with pointless jams and arrangements great songs like All around the world. Something similar happened with the second Stone Roses album. But now some people say that if Be Here now would have included some of the B sides that they included in The Masterplan that then it would have been the third consecutive classic album by Oasis

I love Alvvays, I started listening to them like in 2015 and they have been one of my favorite bands ever since. I love their sound and their whole aesthetic as a band. Their songs are so catchy and filled with nostalgia. My favorite song is "Party Police", i think its one of those perfect songs structurally and sonically. I love the structure because its so simple, I like simple songs, and lot of Alvvay's music is simple like that. Molly's vocals are so blissful to listen to, she has a very young and childish style of singing which i very much enjoy.

Oh man, I disagree. The songwriting used to be good and as they got more popular (and busier and higher) it got lazier and lazier and studio methods tried to fill in the gaps and we ended up with these highly polished signposts to nowhere.

"Someone loved it and owned it" I loved that line, I had to rewind the video to hear it several times haha. I love used records, I try to imagine what was the last time it was played, what kind of people owned it. If only records could speak and tell us stories about their past owners.

It was so neat seeing Alec get Enya's 'Shepherd Moons', and that certainly was my own introduction to Enya back in 1991. But three years later, I finally listened to 'Watermark', which was her 1988 album that came before 'Shepherd Moons', and was amazed that, aside for the upbeat 'Orinoco Flow', it was quite a dark and moody affair of an album. I found it a difficult listen many times, but it did get me through a lot of heartbreak. To this day, 'Watermark' remains my personal favorite, though I still absolutely love 'Shepherd Moons'.
