You should have added sugar at the beginning and more ghee at last...this would have increased the propensity of that colour...always 6hrs is not enough, at least 12 hours..

@@iAlive. Not at all, sugar increases the temperature of boiling milk, which in turn brings that caramel colour....not the case with stevia..

@@iAlive. One can only do so, with large utensils and furnaces. Thus increasing the temperature of milk to bring that colour. At the same time adding pure ghee at the initial stage only, so as to compensate for the sugar induced temperature hike. Adding artificial sugar at last..... This is a tedious process, difficult to replicate at home...
