My friends were all married, my siblings were all married and I was having feelings of deep sadness over just always being the extra. I wanted love but I hated that people acted like I was not enough on my own. This year is my 4th wedding anniversary and I did not know I would have been back here to write this. 🎉 To everyone, love is beautiful. Do not give up!❤❤❤

I don’t know how this movie came across my recommendations, but I’m really gaining a lot of insights from it. I really appreciate movies that show the realities of the impact one’s past negative experiences can have in creating difficulties in relationships. Imagine your heart wanting to love and accept love from others, but your mind and reasoning tells you this doesn’t seem right. I’ve experienced it firsthand and it’s terrible. This movie touched me alot. I can so relate. Especially the part she had to forgive her dad despite the hurt and trauma. She still honoured him by making him walk down the aisle with her. Glad I was able to help one person at least. This movie made me throw myself out there way earlier than I was ready for and I eventually ended up with the wrong person and ended up in 4 psychologist’s offices receiving therapy. I met him in church and so it just made sense to me that I was getting the desires of my heart since that’s what I was praying for. Corinna’s pastor was very similar to my own pastor in reality and so everything just made sense in my head. Oh did I also mention that he is also an accountant. Anyway, it ended very badly: he’s married to someone else now with a kid or 2 and my name involved in a smear campaign because he's a very horrible person, but I was a naive and gentle christian girl. Point is, just remember that it’s a movie and don’t absorb the emotions is all I’m saying. I’m sure the writers probably want to preach a message, but most importantly I guess, is make sure it's God leading you to your right person and not your fantasy or movie or book fantasy or your emotions or day dreaming or the desire to recreate a movie perfect bullseye in your life and being overrun or blinded by the emotions of loving love or loving love stories 🤍

This is an excellent movie. The actors are amazing, the storyline is better than any hallmark movie, the clothing designer did an amazing job, the director does a wonderful job of building desire and love between the characters, there's not a ton of music constantly playing in the background to force an emotion because the actors are mediocre...the sets are beautiful and well thought out and complimentary to the actors. And thank you that it was clean overall as well. I pray we get more movies like this one with such excellence and highly entertaining. Thank you to those who produced a really enjoyable movie. ❤

YES!!! I love!!! love!! love!! this movie. I just came across this movie by looking up comedy youtube movies. I am so glad I watched this movie til the end. This movie is a breath of fresh!! air for me. It made me believe that love!! is possible even though you have not healed from past emotional wounds. I must say I want a man like Mark. He saw past her emotionally baggage from past relationships that failed. He accepted her as she was. He didn't try to change her. He loved her for her. Corina was so fearful of commitment and didn't have the confidence to let love in she made the man wait 2 years that is insane. I know this is just a movie but I felt Mark pain he loved Corina so much she was just to fearful. This movie had me wanting love in my life. This movie is my top love movie of 2024. I definitely want to give love a try with the right man. May all the ladies in the comment section including myself find the Godly man God has for us despite the world condition.

This understated movie is one of my low-key favs. Janelle is my girl, omgosh. 💖 So gorgeous, and when she told her (@ 21:25) about textationships, "... don't do that". I felt it, cz I hv a friend who stays in those and it is horrible! This is how we really are (rooting for each other, acknowledging our beauty and praying for the best). I'll take this movie on repeat over fake reality tv (meant to invite disdain, degradation, and drama) any day. I hate tv. But, I like this along with "Hav Plenty" "the Help" and anything featuring Alfre Woodard. 💖
