Nice video--I love seeing pulpwood cars. My grandmother's house was directly across from a pulpwood loading yard in southwest Arkansas, and I remember watching the trucks come in from the woods loaded with Southern yellow pine "sticks" and unloading them in the yard. The guy who ran the yard, who was also a distant cousin of mine, would then load the pulpwood cars on the siding. Once every few days, an old high-hood locomotive would come rambling down the KCS mainline and pick up the loaded cars. Unfortunately, by the early 80s, all of that was gone, and nowadays, you'd never know the entire operation ever existed.

Looks like you almost had a runner! That gray? car blew past the STOP sign, and hit the brakes when they saw how close the train was! You almost had your first train vs car accident at that crossing in this video.😮 No Darwin Award today, but eventually that driver might just earn one, if they keep trying to outrun a train.
